When In New York
There is something about New York City that can only be described as magic. The city that first welcomed me when I arrived in the United States of America, like millions of immigrants before me. This is what I recommend in my home away from home:
Visit the Statue of Liberty to learn about the different migration waves that make the United States what it is today.
Stroll through the Greek and Roman section of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (When Harry Met Sally anyone?).
Watch the leaves in Central Park turn yellow in the fall (and make sure you walk around the Jackie O. Reservoir).
Run the New York Marathon listening to “Empire State of Mind” and listen as every borough cheers you on! (I was a newbie and trained with the New York Road Runners, highly recommended).
